    Perfect Christmas Getaway

We had a cozy stay for the holidays. Martyn and Lynn really made us feel at home, even with homemade chocolates waiting for us. The bed was super comfy and the shower was awesome. Breakfast was seriously one of the best ever! Only thing was parking was a bit tight. All in all, a fab experience!

We loved our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The kids enjoyed playing darts, and we appreciated the spacious King Room. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delightful, especially breakfast. Great spot for nearby cycling trails!

My kids wished there were more outdoor activities for them.

Request a larger room in advance, as not all are equally spacious, especially if traveling with friends.

    beautifully decorated
    comfortable atmosphere
    accessible amenities
    outdoor seating
    limited space

The Labouring Man is beautifully decorated, featuring charming floral arrangements throughout the lovely garden, creating a cheerful atmosphere. The pub is easily accessible, making it comfortable for seniors like myself to enjoy all the amenities offered.

A bit more outdoor seating would be lovely.

    spacious room
    charming ambiance
    dry pastry
    overcooked dishes
    expensive lunch

The spacious king room offered a comfortable stay, complemented by the charming courtyard garden that creates a lovely ambiance. Staff were friendly and accommodating. they even cooked for us after the kitchen had closed, showcasing their commitment to excellent service. a visit for lunch revealed overcooked dishes that left much to be desired, particularly at £13.95 for a dry prawn and spinach pastry that lacked any notable sauce. This meal detracted from what could have been a pleasant experience.

    Charming stay with delightful hosts

I had a lovely one-night stay in a beautifully decorated King Room. The owners were incredibly welcoming and ensured we felt right at home. Dinner was a delight, with expertly cooked food, and the breakfast was equally impressive, featuring a delicious smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Only downside was that the orange juice was quite sweet for my taste.

    comfortable king room

Had such a fab stay in this gorgeous place! The courtyard garden is an absolute treat, and the comfy King Room made winding down after a long day a pleasure. The attention to detail, like the quirky decor and little extras in the room, showed they really give a toss about making guests feel special. Loved every moment and can't wait to come back!

    would consider staying here again

The king room had a comfy bed with great linens, a powerful shower, and a tea/coffee maker. There was convenient parking out back. The friendly staff made dining easy with a good breakfast selection and tasty dinner options in a cozy pub atmosphere with an open fire. A very clean place throughout.
